Last we we were given an opportunity to get a change of pace. StratSim (Strategy Simulation) is an application developed at the University of Michigan (go blue) where five teams compete against each other as auto manufacturers. We were given several areas of responsibility including finance, market
ing, research, manufacturing and distribution. In teams of five or six we competed in increase profits and gain market share. This was a chance to be CEO for a day.

This was a chance to be CEO for a day.StratSim was a great opportunity to put many of the skills we've learned to use. We studied the markets, negotiated and maneuvered our way toward our goals of increasing stock price and company profitability. Over two days, we allocated the game into five, three-hour blocks. Each three-hours represented a year of time where we observed and learned form our decisions. Needless to say, after fifteen hours, decision making was as much a battle of endurance as it was wisdom.
