The last two months I've spent thinking about the "what if's." What if I don't get accepted to Darden? What if I do but can't afford it? What if I had applied to other schools for more options?
Most mornings I wake up, get some housework done, have breakfast and ask God to give me some sort of clear direction on what I'm supposed to do next. This particular morning was pretty similar, do chores, let the termite man in, and then ask for direction (not from the termite man).
Today, three important pieces of news were offered:
1. There are some potential job openings which could allow me to work longer at my current job
2. UVA called to tell me I've been accepted to the Darden School of Business
3. We don't have termites
If you've read this far, you know that #2 matters a lot to me (others not so much). There is a lot to be thankful for today. The timing of this news is really outstanding. I am thankful for direction today. I am also thankful to the many people who helped me along the way through applications, interviews and references. You all made a difference.
