Goalll!!!

Wednesday night Michele and I went to watch a soccer (futbol) match over at Klöckner Stadium. On top of the fact that the weather was perfect and the parking and admission are free, we got to watch a good pre-season matchupwith thee Hoyas. We met a couple Darden friends there and enjoyed some fantastic lawn seating. Settling in to collegiate life again is taking time but so far it's been really nice. Having so many things to do right down the road is really great for us. Oh,ands UVa won 2-0.

Speaking of goals, the most common question these days is "what do you want to do after B-School?" And the most common answer is "I'm not sure, maybe general management." What the heck is general management? Is that somehow different than consulting? I like saying these because they are exactly the same as "I dunno" but they sound very MBA-like. There are other cool buzzword jobs like operations and banking which are just slightly less vague.

As if classes weren't approaching fast enough, we've been directed to pick up our first cases tomorrow (Friday) before classes. There are some students driving there moving truck down this wekeend Ouch!

There is no better futbol than on a golf course on the side of a mountain with a glowbrite basketball as a thunderboomer approaches.
